Since I began meditating and learning the prep practice from Regina, it has become an indispensable part of my life. Regina kept in touch with everyone in the class, she nagged us and she supported us. She reminded us that we will always look for reasons to NOT meditate. That’s our ego telling us that it knows better, even though we love meditating and can see how helpful it is in our lives. Crazy! The support really helped me. I think I would have quit if I didn’t have Regina’s support. In class she uses examples from her own life to motivate us, too. Great practice, great teacher.
I did an email I AM Remote Healing with Regina in July. This was great because writing my problems in an email helped me focus on what was really bothering me—some issues were physical, some were emotional. My mom had recently died and I wrote about my feelings toward her and her death. At the end of the 10-day meditation period, I felt lighter and happier than I felt in months. The most significant change, though, was how my perspective shifted. I feel empathy where I once judged people harshly. I am more loving, and this seems like a permanent change that benefits our whole family.
The healings that come through Regina are freeing. When we do them, I am allowed to leave my sad and abusive childhood behind. My worries are lifted and new experiences come through. Events that I never could have expected are occurring now.
Last year my son was so depressed. His girlfriend broke up with him and he was having a hard time in college. I cried every day and I was so sad for him. In September I had an I AM Remote Healing with Regina, and I told her what was going on in our lives. After a couple of weeks the mood in my home became so much lighter. My son smiled more, and he was working with his professors to improve his GPA.
If I had to pick one thing that I learned from Regina’s meditation class that had the biggest impact on me, it would be that I am not my thoughts, and I am not my feelings. It seems so obvious now, but at the time it hit me like a ton of bricks. I can just watch them, and that alone is liberating. Regina takes her class seriously, and she supports her students so that all of us can have a regular practice. I am now a daily meditator and I see the benefits of my practice everywhere I look.
